This course is based on the work of renowned experts in psychology, mind-body connection, trauma, healing, and meditation, including: Gabor Mate, Richard Schwartz, Stephen Porges, Deb Dana, Peter Levine, Dan Siegel, plant medicine stewards, and a noble lineage of Tibetan Buddhist masters.
Course facilitator Vicky Reeves is a certified coach with a degree in psychology, trained in Gabor Mate’s psychotherapeutic approach of Compassionate Inquiry. In addition to coaching, her professional background includes over a decade in the business world, working with boards and executives on governance, strategy, communications, and leadership. Her lifelong pursuit of spiritual growth has included 15 years of meditation practice and study, 10 years of living in a meditation retreat center, and over a hundred meditation courses around the world. She has edited and published books for an internationally-recognized meditation master and studied at a Buddhist institute in India. She now integrates her experiences into a practical approach of compassionately connecting with our own authenticity and embracing the wisdom of our body and emotions to thrive.
